“The real voyage of discovery lies not in finding new landscapes but in having new eyes.” —Marcel Proust
Born and raised on a farm outside the tiny village of Orono, Ontario, where my family farmed for three generations, I have a love for the great outdoors in my DNA.
After practicing and guiding wellness experiences, including yoga asana, meditation, pranayama, and mindfulness, for many years I came to realize that performing these practices outside, in natural environments, provided benefits that were deeper, richer, more varied and longer lasting. What a joyous epiphany!
My guiding style is “leelah”, a Sanskrit word translating as playfulness. A playful approach is relaxed and joyful. It opens you to the freedom of experiencing the power and pleasure of present moment awareness.
The lushly forested, rolling hills of Northumberland County, my home, provide the perfect environment for guiding these practices, in deep intimacy with the healing realm of nature.
